The short answerEvery tool here runs in your browser. None asks for account access, an API key or a subscription, and none is metered, because there is no paid API behind them to meter. The trade is stated plainly: enter your name, business name, business email and phone once and every tool unlocks for ninety days. Nothing you paste into a tool is ever uploaded — the analysis happens on your machine, which is exactly why they can be unlimited.

These tools take pasted text and exports rather than URLs, because a browser cannot read another site’s files without that site’s permission. Search volumes and cost-per-click figures quoted across this site are Ubersuggest, United States, September 2026.

Ten free marketing tools, and what each one is actually for

Every tool below runs in your browser. None of them asks for access to an advertising account, a Google login or an API key, and none of them is a trial.

They exist because the questions they answer come up in nearly every conversation we have with a business, and because the honest answer to most of them takes a calculation rather than a consultation.

Schema markup generator

Adding structured data to a page

Build FAQPage, LocalBusiness, Service, JobPosting or Product JSON-LD — and see which required properties you left out, which is the part template generators never check.

Open the tool →

ROAS and break-even calculator

Deciding whether ads are actually profitable

Turns spend, cost per click, conversion rate, close rate, job value and margin into break-even ROAS, cost per customer and the highest click price your margin can sustain.

Open the tool →

Google Ads search terms auditor

Finding wasted spend in a live account

Paste the Search Terms report and see non-converting spend, negative keyword candidates ranked by cost, and your brand versus non-brand split. No account access needed.

Open the tool →

Google Business Profile and NAP audit

Fixing local visibility and inconsistent listings

Scores your profile against what actually moves local visibility, and diffs your name, address and phone across listings — ignoring formatting, flagging real differences.

Open the tool →

AI visibility checker

Finding out whether ChatGPT recommends you

Writes six buying-intent prompts, you run them in your own assistant account, and it reports whether you were named, linked or hedged — and who was named instead.

Open the tool →

AI crawler access checker

Checking what your robots.txt actually allows

Parses your robots.txt and reports which AI crawlers can reach a given path, grouped by the job each operator states for that token. Training and retrieval are different decisions.

Open the tool →

llms.txt generator

Publishing an llms.txt file

Builds a valid llms.txt, plus an honest assessment of what publishing one does and does not currently achieve.

Open the tool →

Schema versus copy validator

Verifying markup matches visible content

Checks whether your structured data agrees with the words on the page, which is the difference between valid markup and markup that survives review.

Open the tool →

Extractable content checker

Seeing your page the way a machine does

Shows what survives when your page is reduced to plain text, which is roughly what a retrieval system reads.

Open the tool →

AI visibility prompt builder

Building a repeatable prompt set to track

Generates a prompt set and a CSV to track how assistants answer questions in your category over time.

Why these are free and what the catch is

The catch is stated plainly: you enter your name, business name, business email and phone once, and that unlocks every tool on the site for ninety days.

We get a lead. You get the tools with no metering, no credit limit and no subscription. That is the whole exchange, and it is worth knowing before you fill the form in rather than after.

What we do and do not do with it

  • We contact you about your search visibility. That is the point of the exchange.
  • We do not sell or share the list.
  • You can unsubscribe at any time, and one reply asking us to stop is enough.
  • Nothing you paste into the tools is sent to us — only the contact details you type into the form.
  • The analysis itself happens in your browser, which is why there is no usage limit.

Why one form rather than one per tool

Because asking ten times would be obnoxious. One unlock covers everything for ninety days, and the tools remember on your browser rather than making you sign in.

How the tools work without an API key

Most free tools in this category are a front end to a paid API, which is why they meter you.

These take the export or the text you already have and do the arithmetic locally. That constrains what they can do — none of them can crawl your site or read your ad account — and it is also why they can be genuinely unlimited.

What that means in practice

  • The Google Ads auditor needs your Search Terms export rather than account access.
  • The AI visibility checker gives you prompts to run in your own assistant account.
  • The crawler checker takes your pasted robots.txt rather than fetching it.
  • The NAP audit compares the listings you supply rather than searching for them.
  • In every case the trade is a little manual effort for no cost and no data sharing.

Why a browser cannot just fetch your file

A page cannot read another site’s robots.txt or HTML without that site’s permission, which is a browser security rule rather than a limitation we chose. Pasting the content is the honest way around it, and it keeps the analysis on your machine.

Who these are built for

Service businesses, mostly. Contractors, clinics, firms and agencies who buy advertising, depend on local visibility, and do not employ a full-time analyst.

That shows in the choices. The calculators ask for close rate and margin, which a contractor knows and a SaaS dashboard never asks for. The auditors assume you have an export rather than an API budget.

They are useful to agencies too

Nothing stops an agency using these on client accounts, and the Google Ads auditor in particular is faster than most paid alternatives for the specific job of finding non-converting spend in one export.

What they are not

  • They are not rank trackers; the results change by searcher location and a single reading tells you little.
  • They are not crawlers; none of them fetches a URL.
  • They are not a substitute for knowing your own close rate and margin, which several of them ask for.
  • They are not scored against a benchmark we invented, because published benchmarks for most of this do not exist.

The measurement problem underneath all of them

Most marketing tools report what a platform can see. The things that decide whether a business made money mostly sit outside what any platform observes.

Close rate, margin, lead quality and delivery capacity are invisible to Google Ads and to every AI visibility vendor. Several of these tools ask for them directly, which is why their output differs from what a dashboard tells you.

The three numbers worth knowing before you use any of this

  1. Your gross margin, after the cost of delivering the work and before overhead.
  2. Your close rate by source, which most businesses estimate rather than measure.
  3. Your average job value, taken from a typical job rather than your best one.

Why they matter more than the tools

A 4x return on ad spend is excellent at a seventy per cent margin and a loss at twenty. Without those three figures, every other number in marketing is decoration.

Using them in a sensible order

If you are starting from nothing, the order matters more than which tool you open first.

Fix what is broken before measuring what is working, and measure the business before measuring the channel.

A workable sequence

  1. Work out your margin, close rate and job value. Nothing else means much without them.
  2. Run the Google Business Profile and NAP audit if you serve a local area.
  3. Run the AI crawler access checker to confirm nothing is blocking retrieval by accident.
  4. Run the AI visibility checker to establish a baseline before you change anything.
  5. Run the Google Ads auditor if you are spending on search.
  6. Run the ROAS calculator with the real numbers from step one.
  7. Re-run the visibility checker monthly with identical prompts.

What to do with the results

Structural problems first, because they stop the leak. Exclusions second. Bids, budgets and content last, because they are meaningless until the first two are done.

Privacy, stated specifically

Nothing you paste into any tool on this site is uploaded, logged or stored.

The analysis runs in your browser. The only data that reaches us is what you type into the unlock form, and the only thing we do with it is contact you about your search visibility.

What this means technically

  • No tool makes a network request with your pasted content.
  • There is no account, no server-side history and nothing to delete later.
  • Your unlock is remembered in your own browser storage, not on our server.
  • Clearing your browser data means you will be asked once more.
  • Nothing you paste is used to train anything.

What free tools from the big platforms give you, and where they stop

Ahrefs, Semrush and Google all publish free tools, and for several jobs they are the right answer. It is worth being clear about where they stop rather than pretending otherwise.

The platform free tiers are excellent at anything requiring a crawl or an index, because they own one. They are deliberately limited at the point where the paid product begins, which is usually just past the first useful result.

Use theirs for

  • Anything needing a crawl of your site, which no browser tool can do.
  • Keyword volume and difficulty, which requires a data set nobody can replicate client-side.
  • Backlink data, for the same reason.
  • Google’s own Rich Results Test and Search Console, which are authoritative and free.

Use these for

  • Anything where your own numbers matter more than platform data: margin, close rate, job value.
  • Anything you already have the export for, where the work is arithmetic rather than data collection.
  • Anything you want to run repeatedly without a credit counter.
  • Anything you would rather not hand account access to.

The honest summary

These are not a replacement for a crawler or a keyword database, and this page will not pretend otherwise. They cover the jobs where the limiting factor is arithmetic and judgement rather than data you do not have.

What we would build next, and what we deliberately will not

The list above is not finished, and a few obvious candidates have been left off on purpose.

Where a tool would have to state something it cannot actually know, we have not built it, however much search volume the keyword carries.

Deliberately not built

  • An AI content detector. The keyword carries over eighteen thousand US searches a month and the detection is not reliable enough to publish a verdict on. A tool that accuses someone wrongly is worse than no tool.
  • A single AI visibility score. Nobody observes every conversation, so any total-share figure is extrapolation presented as measurement.
  • A rank tracker. Position varies by searcher location and a single reading misleads more than it informs.
  • Anything requiring account access, because the convenience is not worth the standing permission.

Likely next

The gaps worth filling are the ones where the arithmetic is genuinely useful and fully determinable from data you already hold. If there is one you keep wanting, the contact form reaches the people who build these.

Want this done rather than measured?

We run the same work these tools sample — search, content, paid and AI visibility — against your actual margin and close rate rather than against platform metrics.

Frequently asked questions

Are these marketing tools really free?
Yes. There is no trial, no credit limit and no subscription. You enter your name, business name, business email and phone once, and that unlocks every tool on the site for ninety days. That exchange is the entire catch.
Why do you ask for my details?
Because that is what the tools are for, from our side: we get a lead, you get unlimited use of tools that would otherwise be metered. We would rather state that plainly than pretend the form is for sending you a report.
Will you email me my results?
No. Nothing you paste is sent to us, so we could not email you a report even if we wanted to. The results appear in your browser and stay there.
Do I have to fill in the form for every tool?
No. One unlock covers every tool on the site for ninety days. It is remembered in your own browser rather than in an account.
What do you do with my contact details?
We contact you about your search visibility. We do not sell or share the list, and one reply asking us to stop is enough.
Do these tools need access to my Google Ads or Google Business Profile account?
No. None of them asks for account access or OAuth. The Google Ads auditor takes an export you download yourself; the Business Profile audit takes details you paste.
How can they be unlimited if other free tools are metered?
Because metered tools are usually a front end to a paid API, so every check costs the operator money. These do the arithmetic in your browser, so there is nothing to meter.
Why do I have to paste things instead of entering a URL?
A browser cannot read another site’s files without that site’s permission. That is a security rule rather than a design choice, and pasting is the honest way around it.
Is anything I paste stored or uploaded?
No. No tool makes a network request with your pasted content. There is no account, no server-side history and nothing to delete later.
Which tool should I start with?
Work out your margin, close rate and average job value first — without those, most of the other numbers mean little. Then the Business Profile audit if you are local, the crawler checker, and the AI visibility checker for a baseline.
Which tool finds wasted ad spend?
The Google Ads search terms auditor. Paste a 90-day Search Terms export and it reports spend on terms that never converted, ranked by cost, with negative keyword candidates.
Which tool tells me if ChatGPT recommends my business?
The AI visibility checker. It writes six buying-intent prompts, you run them in your own assistant account, and it reports whether you were named, where in the list, whether you were linked and whether the mention was hedged.
Which tool helps with local visibility?
The Google Business Profile and NAP audit. It scores the profile by weighted factor and compares your name, address and phone across listings, ignoring formatting differences and flagging genuine ones.
Do these work for agencies managing client accounts?
Yes. Nothing restricts them to your own business, and the Google Ads auditor in particular is quick for the specific job of finding non-converting spend in a client export.
Are these rank trackers?
No. Rankings vary by searcher location and a single reading tells you very little. None of these tools reports a position.
Do you publish benchmarks to compare against?
Only where real published data exists. For most of this it does not, and inventing a benchmark would be worse than leaving it out.
What do I need before using the calculators?
Your gross margin after delivery cost, your close rate by source, and a typical job value. Those three decide the output more than anything the platform reports.
How often should I re-run them?
The Google Ads auditor monthly, because new search terms appear constantly. The AI visibility checker monthly with identical wording. The others when something changes.
Do the tools work on a phone?
Yes, though the ones that take a pasted export are easier on a desktop where you have the file to hand.
What happens after ninety days?
You will be asked to enter your details once more. Nothing you did is lost, because nothing was stored on our side in the first place.
